Our Mission
Audubon Gardens Group — also known as AGG Cares — was founded in 2021 with a clear conviction: adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities deserve residential care that is medically excellent, deeply personal, and genuinely home-like. Not institutional. Not clinical. Home.
We operate two licensed residential care homes in Orlando, Florida — The Garden at Bennett and The Garden at Ibis. Each home serves a small number of residents with 24/7 nursing oversight, individualized care plans, and a commitment to measurable health outcomes.
We specialize in medically acute and complex individuals — residents with seizure disorders, G-tube dependence, respiratory needs, mobility challenges, and behavioral support requirements. Our team has a documented track record of achieving weight gain, wound healing, respiratory stabilization, and reduced hospitalizations for our residents.

- Licensed by the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) — Florida's primary agency for IDD services

- Approved provider under the APD iBudget Waiver program

Who We Serve
We serve adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) who need residential care with nursing supervision. This includes individuals with:
- Autism spectrum disorder
- Down syndrome
- Cerebral palsy
- Traumatic brain injury
- Seizure disorders and epilepsy
- G-tube dependence and feeding needs
- Respiratory conditions requiring monitoring
- Other developmental disabilities requiring 24/7 support
We accommodate both ambulatory and non-ambulatory residents, and both verbal and non-verbal individuals. Every resident receives an Individualized Support Plan built around their specific medical, behavioral, and personal needs.
Language support: Our team includes English, Spanish, Haitian Creole, and Portuguese speaking staff so families can communicate comfortably throughout the placement and care process.
